Job Description

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required for a leading supplier of valves.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities and developing key accounts in target areas. You will be selling different types of valves into a range of industries, such as: pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and power generation.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally be based in the Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton, Derby, Nottingham and have a background in selling valves into a range of industries.

Role

  • Sourcing new business opportunities and developing current and dormant accounts.
  • Selling valves, such as control valves, actuated valves, and manual valves, into a range of industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with end users, OEMS, machine builders, etc.
  • Work remotely / field-based, covering target areas.

 

Requirements

  • Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Executive, or similar.
  • 2+ years' experience working within external sales roles.
  • Experience selling valves such as control valves, actuated valves, manual valves, or similar.
  • Experience selling into industries such as pharmaceutical, food & beverage, power generation, steam, or similar.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Working remotely.
