ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a Business Development Manager who has knowledge and experience of working within in Product Certification industry. This role is perfect for a self-starter, hunter Business Development Manager who excels at pursuing and closing new opportunities. We are seeking individuals who are relentless in generating new business and consistently winning deals.

 

Required skills and experience:

  • Leadership and proactive engagement
  • Have a 'hunter' mentality and proactively find and close new business opportunities 
  • Collaboration across all functions of the business 
  • Ownership and accountability for delivering key metrics of the business
  • Achieving specific objectives and performance metrics that will be assigned as part of the Annual review process every year
  • Previous sales experience in a professional services industry
  • Experience in Product Certification Personal Protective Equipment space
  • Professional appearance, phone and presentation skills to C-Suite level
  • Strong work ethic, tenacious “can do “attitude, self-motivated, proactive 
  • Highly organised, effective time manager, goal orientated 
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team 
  • Experience in responding to proposal requests and emails in a timely manner
  • Ability to enter new markets
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 

 

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

This will be a remotely based position reporting to the Product Service Commercial Sales Manager. The Product Services Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the achievement of new business targets within the UK and European PPE Product Services programs allocated by the Product Service Commercial Sales Manager. This will be achieved through the management of strong relationships within existing key clients, the conversion of sales leads and the acquisition of new clients.

 

Key activities:

  • Strategic Planning & Implementation of New Business acquisitions through growth in New Schemes and programs as well as existing schemes and programs
  • Achievement of sales revenue and profitability expectations as set by the Commercial Sales Manager
  • Internal and external networking to foster high sales activity and efficient internal processes/collaboration
  • Management of Self-generated Leads and Enquiries and compliance to SLA’s and KPI’s
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date salesforce records
  • Ensure all customer correspondence/proposals are accurate
