Business Development Manager Manchester (Hybrid)
£40,000 base salary + OTE
Company Overview: Our client is a dynamic and growing technology company dedicated to simplifying property management for landlords and property owners. They specialise in alleviating the administration burden associated with mandatory compliance certification for residential properties. Their innovative platform streamlines communication between contractors, property managers, landlords and tenants, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to play a pivotal role in driving and expanding our presence in the property technology space.
Responsibilities:
Generate demand for the platform through business development, partnerships and working with the marketing team
Support and nurture leads and facilitate the conversion of potential clients to active platform users
Participate in in-person and virtual prospect and customer events
Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders, including product and customer success teams
Attend industry events and working with other internal stakeholders to increase adoption of the products
Speak with authority on the compliance obligations of the lettings industry and the solutions that ensure compliance
Being, along with colleagues’ part of the ‘face’ of the brand
Leverage your network to enhance their presence in the industry
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to business development
Stay informed about compliance obligations in the lettings industry
Speak with authority on solutions that ensure compliance and position them as an industry leader
Understand implications of government initiatives for the lettings industry e.g. Renters Reform
Support Symple in establishing authority in property safety certification through strategic initiatives
Qualifications:
Proven track record in selling within the property technology sector to landlords and letting agents is essential
Strong network and established contacts within the property technology and estate agency sector
Familiarity of the UK property technology space and its role in compliance
Experience participating in both in-person and virtual events
Ability to work towards and exceed sales targets and quotas
Experience selling to UK letting agents and landlords
A strong network of contacts in the UK estate agency space
Strong presentation skills
Familiar with working to sales targets and quotas
Comfortable with ‘rolling up your selves’ to drive sales and product uptake
