About the role
Join PwC UK as a Communications Manager, leading dynamic external and internal communications strategies for our Northern offices and nationwide Energy and ESG practices. You'll collaborate with senior leaders and diverse teams to craft compelling narratives that elevate our brand and resonate across your market. What your days will look like
Craft Integrated Communications Plans: Develop proactive communication strategies that align external and internal messaging with PwC's market priorities.
Elevate Key Spokespeople: Boost the profile of market leaders in PwC’s North of England practice and the national Energy and ESG teams through media relationships and impactful social media engagement.
Foster Internal Collaboration: Build strong relationships with stakeholders to inform and reflect firmwide strategy in communication plans.
Streamline Content Management: Plan and track communications proactively, ensuring clear visibility of opportunities and workflow for stakeholders.
Become an Industry Expert: Leverage your expertise to identify and create timely, relevant content and commentary for your market.
Navigate Sensitive Issues: Spot potential challenges and collaborate with Corporate Affairs experts to maintain the firm’s reputation.
This role is for you if
You possess strong journalist connections and have experience delivering high-impact media coverage and campaigns
You collaborate seamlessly with Internal Engagement & Transformation teams and have experience with internal communications.
You are familiar with social media, particularly LinkedIn and can design and craft content for key events and content.
You engage proactively with stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective communication planning.
You have versatile communication skills, stay informed with an intellectually curious mindset, and are always aware of current news trends.
You exercise sound judgment, knowing when to consult and collaborate with team members.
