This is a 4-month fixed-term contract. The role is for 3 days per week, with flexibility to distribute the 3 working days across a 5-day period

Role Overview


The Internal Communications Manager will be a key driver in aligning Arc’s internal communications with its growth acceleration plan. Working closely with the CHRO and senior leadership, this role will lead the development and execution of engaging, data-informed communication strategies that enhance employee engagement and strengthen our organisational culture.

 

Key Responsibilities


Strategic Communication & Culture

  • Design and implement an internal communications plan that supports Arc’s growth acceleration strategy and enhances culture and workforce engagement.
  • Collaborate with the CHRO to shape and activate a values-based culture programme that drives connection and performance.


Content Creation & Campaign Management

  • Develop and deliver compelling content and internal campaigns across key channels including Microsoft Teams, email newsletters, Town Halls, and internal video.
  • Work with Audio Visual and creative teams to produce engaging internal stories and multimedia collateral that support our company’s mission and mindset.


Channel Management & Digital Strategy

  • Manage internal communication channels to ensure consistent, timely, and relevant messaging.
  • Apply digital marketing techniques—such as SEO, content marketing, paid internal media, and social strategies—to increase visibility and impact of internal content.
  • Build and maintain digital feedback loops (e.g., pulse surveys, engagement data, intranet analytics) to inform and refine communications.


Leadership Engagement & Events

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to coordinate and deliver high-impact engagement forums, including company-wide Town Halls, leadership meetings, and Q&A sessions.
  • Provide leaders with communication toolkits and coaching to support message consistency and engagement.


Measurement & Optimisation

  • Own the data and analytics related to internal communications, including performance metrics, employee engagement insights, and communication effectiveness.
  • Use analytics to drive strategic decisions and continuously improve communication outputs.


Skills & Experience:


  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications and employee engagement
  • Proven experience developing and implementing internal communications strategies in a fast-paced, growing organisation.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex business topics into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Proficiency in digital tools such as Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint), email marketing platforms, and collaboration tools.
  • Understanding of digital marketing tactics (SEO, content strategy, paid campaigns) as they apply to internal audiences.
  • Experience with event planning and stakeholder engagement at all levels of the organisation.
