Leading International skincare group looking for a Key Account Manager E-retailers 

 

Mind Partners UK is a boutique executive search firm with offices in London, Paris and New-York. We are now partnering with a leading international skincare group in the search for their Key Account Manager E-retailers for UK&I. The brand is famous for its nature-inspired range of organic cosmetic products. The UK&I subsidiary has been very successfully developing its presence and its market share over the last 10 years. 

Working within a highly talented Sales team, you will be responsible for onboarding and growing key accounts to optimise the brand's digital portfolio. 
 

Responsibilities: 
• Manage and work with E- retailers to expand product distribution. 
• Maintain strong relationships with E-retailers, develop and grow the accounts while opening new ones. 
 

The online market share of the UK Business is the highest of all their subsidiaries in Europe, so digital expertise as well as Key Account Management skills and experience within FMCG are highly desirable. 
 

The role is based in their office in London and can be conducted from home 3 days per week. 
 

The position will report directly to the Head of Sales UK. 

 



Requirements

 Your position summary:  

  • Execute brand strategy within UK&I key E-retailers to achieve and exceed business objectives and KPI’s. 
  • Day-to-day Key Accounts management. 
  • Ensure brand’s development and profitability whilst translating the company overall strategy.  
     

 1- CREATING BUSINESS PLAN AND MONITORING  
 

Your responsibility:  

  • Monitoring, optimising and developing Key Accounts business plan & strategy 
  • Managing budget and its accuracy 
  • Managing market research and monitoring competitors  

Your missions:  

  • Achieving all key sales/KPIs/objectives within Key Accounts 
  • Selecting appropriate assortment for each Key Account and ensuring its permanent availability via stock controlling and monitoring. 
  • Develop Key Accounts annual tailored plans and ensure the brand and retailers satisfaction. 
  • Track sell-out and optimise stock level to avoid out of stocks  
  • Forecast and monitor sell-in and sell-out sales and reporting results  
  • Implement sell-in and sell-out corrective actions  
  • Implement new product launches and online and/or offline events 
  • Be an ambassador for the brand in trade customer meetings and events. 
  • Ensure all trade and marketing budgets are spent efficiently to drive business growth.  
  • Conduct competitor research, to ensure the brand is positioned in the best way 

 

2- NEGOTIATION  

 

Your responsibility:  

  • Sell-in and sell-out sales  
  • Retailer's P&L management 
  • Product referencing and visibility  
  • Profitability of each account  
     
     

Your Missions:  

  • Present and reference current product ranges as well as new ones 
  • Develop and manage customer relationships with existing clients  
  • Target new leads and open accounts in line with channel strategy  
  • Negotiate and manage annual contracts 
  • Define and negotiate a yearly trade marketing plan for each client in cooperation with the Marketing and HQ retail guidelines  
  • Coordinate the litigation management

Requirements for the role: 

  • 5 years of proven experience managing M&S/Boots accounts in the FMCG industry. 
  • University degree level or equivalent, Business or Marketing related degree is preferred. 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Strong negotiation skills
