Job Overview:
As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s marketing strategies and initiatives. You will assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across various platforms to help achieve brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention goals. This role offers you the opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills through ongoing learning and mentorship.
Responsibilities:
Website Maintenance:
● Assist in the maintenance of the company website using WordPress and Elementor, ensuring all pages are up-to-date and function smoothly.
● Design and build effective landing pages for marketing campaigns, ensuring a strong user experience and conversion optimisation.
● Conduct heat map analysis to assess user behavior and optimise page performance for better conversion rates.
● Ensure the website’s content is consistent with brand messaging and up to date with the latest product or service offerings.
● Supporting the Communications Lead with blogs and case studies
Lead Generation:
● Assist in implementing and optimising lead generation strategies across digital channels (website, email, social media, etc.).
● Help with creating lead capture forms, calls-to-action, and automations to convert visitors into leads.
● Monitor budgets and report on the effectiveness of lead generation efforts.
SEO/SEM:
● Assist with ongoing SEO efforts to improve website ranking and organic search visibility.
● Help with SEM strategies, including managing Google Ads campaigns and ensuring paid search ads are optimised.
● Monitor keyword rankings, competitor activity, and help identify opportunities for blog topics.
Admin Support:
● Provide administrative support to the Marketing, Sales, and Account Management teams. (enquiring events, ad hoc comms, Social media content writing-to be approved by communication lead)
Reporting & Analytics:
● Track and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, and CRM platforms.
● Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on campaign data to improve performance across all channels.
External Agency Coordination:
● Work closely with external design agencies and freelancers to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets such as graphics, videos, and promotional materials.
● Ensure all work produced by external agencies aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
Skills & Qualifications:
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
● Preferably completed a year in industry (not required)
Bonus points if you have:
● Experience with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, or SEMrush.
● Knowledge of paid advertising platforms (Google Ads, Linkedin Ads, Facebook Ads).
