Location:   London, United Kingdom (Flexible hybrid working)

Employment Type: Permanent

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a bold and strategic Geo Marketing Leader to lead the transformation of our marketing, brand, and growth agenda in EMEA and APAC. Reporting to EXL’s Chief Marketing Officer, this high-impact leadership role will shape and execute an integrated geo marketing strategy aligned with the growth priorities of EXL’s International Growth Markets (IGM) business, anchored in regional relevance, industry-led storytelling, and deep cross-functional alignment across the go-to-market ecosystem.

In addition to driving geo demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and pipeline acceleration, this role will extend EXL’s Brand and Content strategy to the region—acting as the strategic architect of thought leadership, regional executive visibility, and differentiated narratives that resonate with C-suite decision-makers across priority verticals.

This is a unique opportunity to amplify the brand voice, regional presence, and GTM strategy for a company at the forefront of Data and AI, playing a pivotal role in building market leadership, influencing deal velocity, and elevating the brand in international growth markets.

As part of your duties, you will be responsible for:

Geo Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Lead a team responsible for driving UK/Europe and APAC marketing strategies and annual plan for the IGM business line, in alignment with growth goals.
  • Develop and deploy industry-relevant and geo-aligned GTM campaigns, tailored to regional buyer personas, enterprise priorities, and decision-making nuances.
  • Translate business objectives into marketing programs that build awareness, drive demand, and generate qualified pipeline
  • Partner with sales, solutions, consulting, and delivery leaders to execute localized Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies focused on targeted customers and prospect accounts
  • Align international field marketing teams to ensure regional amplification of global campaigns, offers, and content.

Brand, Content, and Thought Leadership

  • Lead regional brand positioning and reputation-building efforts, ensuring consistent articulation of value propositions.
  • Develop and manage a high-impact regional content strategy spanning thought leadership, whitepapers, client stories, and POVs aligned to key verticals.
  • Curate and elevate executive visibility for senior leaders through media, events, digital, and speaking opportunities.
  • Partner with global PR, communications, and digital teams to ensure brand consistency and message resonance across all channels.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Collaboration

  • Act as a strategic marketing advisor to IGM and geo sales leadership; ensure marketing is seen as a growth enabler.
  • Work closely with practice, digital, data & AI, and solution leaders to identify new messaging opportunities and build competitive differentiation.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Centers of Excellence (CoEs) including Brand, Events, Creative, Digital, and Campaign Ops.

Performance Analytics & Optimization

  • Define and track key marketing KPIs across awareness, engagement, MQLs, SQLs, and influenced revenue.
  • Analyze campaign performance and funnel metrics to optimize tactics and drive ROI.
  • Lead quarterly marketing performance reviews with business stakeholders

Qualifications and experience we consider to be essential for the role:

  • Experience partnering with senior sales, and functional leaders in high-visibility growth initiatives.
  • Strong team leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Ability to translate complex analytics into actionable insights for campaign performance, audience engagement, and market trends.
  • Exceptional storytelling and messaging development skills—able to create executive-ready narratives that differentiate.
  • Experience building thought leadership campaigns and executive positioning programs.
  • 15+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in technology, consulting, or digital/data/AI services.
  • Prior experience in geo marketing or international field marketing role within a global enterprise.
  • Proven track record of driving geo marketing strategy, ABM, and pipeline growth in complex matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading regional brand and content programs tied to revenue outcomes.
  • Strong grasp of UK / Europe and APAC market dynamics, buyer behavior, and competitive positioning in digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, ABM platforms, and Digital campaign tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

As part of a leading global analytics and digital solutions company, you can look forward to:

  • A competitive salary with a generous bonus, private healthcare, critical illness life assurance at 4 x your annual salary, income protection insurance, and a rewarding pension.
  • EXL provides everyday financial well-being solutions, such as cash back cards, in which you can earn cashback while enjoying discounts, promotions, and offers from top retailers. We also offer a Cycle Scheme where you can save money on bikes and cycling accessories.
