We’re looking for a Senior Communications Manager (Maternity Cover) to join our team on a fixed-term contract and continue driving the global storytelling of Mews during this exciting phase of growth. This is a high-impact, hands-on role covering an existing team member during their parental leave.

You’ll take the reins on our global communications program, managing external agencies, driving media engagement, and shaping our narrative across regions. Mews is a high-growth scale-up with a strong communications engine, and you’ll play a pivotal role in keeping that momentum going.

🕒 This is a full-time maternity leave contract (approximately 9–12 months), starting in [August/September].

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

-Lead and execute a creative and engaging PR programme across all active markets.

-Manage external PR agencies, including the US, DACH and France

-Manage a growing team that oversees PR, Social Media and M&A Marketing

-Prioritize media opportunities and prepare high-quality comms materials (press releases, briefing docs, presentations, etc.).

-Manage a corporate communications programme and create compelling thought leadership that elevates Mews outside of the world of hospitality.

-Identify opportunities for news-jacking and relevant trend alignment.

-Organise and support interviews, briefings, and announcements to maintain Mews’ media presence, working closely with company spokespeople.

-Cultivate media relationships and ensure favourable coverage.

-Work closely with internal teams to maintain alignment on messaging and priorities.

-Monitor the success of the communications programme.

🤝 You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the following with you:

-Proven experience in B2B media and communications, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment.

-A passion for hospitality, technology, and where the two meet.

-Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.

-Strategic mindset and confidence to act as a trusted comms advisor to senior spokespeople.

-Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

-Experience leading global comms programmes and managing internal team members and agency partners.
