The Marketing & PR Team of YMCA Robin Hood Group are recruiting for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive.  We are looking for someone to take ownership of our high volume, multi-channel digital programme. You’ll own planning, delivery and optimisation across paid media, websites, email and analytics.  You’ll manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously, responding to changing needs, and producing clear performance insights for stakeholders. 


The role combines hands-on campaign execution with ownership of key digital channels, including optimisation and learning cycles. You will thrive on breadth and pace with the experience and confidence to drive improvements to how we work in a values-led organisation.

Role Highlights


Job Title: Senior Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Split between our Community & Activity Village in Newark & the Malt Cross in Nottingham with 1 day working from home

Salary: £29 - £34k

Hours: 37.5 hours per week with some evening and weekend work to support events when required.


The Role

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining technical digital marketing expertise with a strong focus on achieving outcomes and results. 

  • Lead on planning, delivering and optimising digital marketing campaigns across paid media, email, website and digital platforms, setting clear objectives and outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, keeping the Head of Marketing and colleagues informed on progress and impact.
  • To own and ensure all digital marketing activity reflects the YMCA’s brand, values and mission while achieving measurable results.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure joined-up marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Use data and insights to drive performance improvements, inform decision-making and measure campaign impact.


About You – Does this sound like you?


  • Previous experience delivering multi-channel campaigns (paid social, Google Ads, email, web), supported by strong skills in targeting, optimisation, budgeting, keyword strategy, and campaign reporting.
  • You will have a deep knowledge of Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, and Tag Manager, including campaign setup, tracking, attribution, and insight generation.
  • You can demonstrate your ability in email marketing automation (segmentation, workflows, personalisation), plus experience in SEO (technical, content, on-page) and CRO/UX (A/B testing, user journey optimisation).
  • You will be competent in CMS management, landing page builds, site optimisation, analytics setup, UTM conventions, and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • You will be skilled at managing freelancers, agencies, and internal teams, using project management tools to deliver integrated campaigns on time and on brand.
  • As an excellent communicator, you will be a strong copywriter with previous stakeholder communication skills, ensuring campaigns meet brand guidelines, GDPR/PECR requirements, and tone of voice standards.
  • With a strategic mindset, you will be able to set KPIs, analyse data into actionable insights, apply a “test and learn” approach, and manage workload effectively in high-volume environments.
