We have a great opportunity for a Senior Marketing and External Communications Manager to lead on all corporate, strategic marketing and external communications for UPP. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery to raise our brand visibility and industry profile through compelling, high-quality content that reflects our values and expertise.
You’ll lead communications across multiple B2B channels, from our website and social media to industry events, and oversee the creation of standout written and designed materials, including new business proposals and corporate reports.
Role Responsibilities include:
Development and execution of B2B marketing strategies
Manage delivery of investor and corporate reporting
Develop thought leadership content and manage UPP’s participation in webinars, podcasts, and key industry events
Oversee management of all external channels and content, including our website and LinkedIn, for UPP's Corporate account as well as the UPP Foundation
Support all stages of bid and tender activity, assisting the Business Development team with content creation, design, copywriting and proofreading
Use data and analytics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and external communications activity and make recommendations for optimisation and improvement
Manage proactive and reactive or external communications, including crisis comms when needed
Draft and distribute press releases and other media materials to promote UPP’s profile and reputation
Management of the corporate marketing and external communications budget
Line-manage the in-house Creative Designer, managing their workflow and delivery of all requested outputs
This role is based at our award-winning offices in London near Cannon Street and London Bridge stations, and we have a generous Hybrid Working Policy, which enables our teams to combine attending the office with remote working.
Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, the role requires a senior marketing professional with sharp attention to detail, exceptional writing, and confident presentation skills.
You will also have excellent copywriting skills with creative flair in designing end to end marketing campaigns and demonstrable experience of in-house content creation.
