Key Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute a forward-looking talent acquisition strategy aligned with the team’s performance goals and workforce plan.
  • Partner with senior leadership, HR, and functional heads to anticipate hiring needs and shape future capability pipelines.
  • Use data and insights to drive workforce decisions, improve processes, and measure effectiveness.
Talent Attraction & Branding
  • Build and lead employer branding initiatives that position the team as an employer of choice across engineering, performance, and business disciplines.
  • Partner with our ESG team to support and champion DE&I in all recruitment activity, ensuring diverse representation and inclusive candidate experiences.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to craft compelling candidate messaging, creative content and recruitment campaigns.
Operational Excellence
  • Lead, coach, and develop the TA team to deliver high-quality, timely hiring outcomes across all business areas.
  • Drive consistency and efficiency in recruitment processes, from briefing and sourcing to selection and offer management.
  • Ensure exceptional candidate experience and hiring manager engagement throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage and continuously improve tools, systems (ATS/CRM), and reporting to optimize efficiency and data accuracy.
Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Work with Emerging Talent and wider team to support strong relationships with external partners, universities, and industry networks to maintain a steady flow of top-tier talent.
  • Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis to inform proactive sourcing strategies and maintain critical talent pipelines with proactive management of niche talent.
  • Advise hiring managers and senior stakeholders on recruitment best practice, compensation benchmarking, and talent trends.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition Manager or senior recruitment leadership role in high-performance, fast-paced environment (e.g., motorsport, elite sport, advanced engineering, or technology).
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning and recruitment best practice.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing recruitment teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering recruitment process improvements and operational excellence.
  • Ideally a proven and strong network across engineering, technology, and performance-driven talent markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business.
  • Excellent analytical capability with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of workforce analytics and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.
