Veterinary Account Manager - Ruminant 

On the road - Scotland 

Are you a self-motivated, technically minded sales professional with a strong background in animal health and a passion for the ruminant sector?

We're recruiting for a veterinary account manager to cover Scotland for a well-established and innovative animal health business with a strong reputation in the market.

The Role:

As a Veterinary Account Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering sales and gross margin targets within your territory. You'll manage and develop long-term relationships with existing veterinary clients while identifying and converting new business opportunities. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and takes pride in their performance.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and grow key veterinary accounts across Scotland
  • Follow up on business leads and actively develop new opportunities
  • Organise and manage your own work schedule independently
  • Conduct on-farm product demonstrations alongside  veterinary clients
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly to both vets and farmers
  • Maintain CRM systems accurately and consistently
  • Attend occasional evening/ weekend events as well as conferences and internal meetings
  • Be flexible to travel with overnight stays 

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in the animal health, agriculture or veterinary sector
  • Proven track record of increasing sales within a defined territory
  • Strong relationship-building skills with new and existing clients
  • Confident using CRM tools and managing sales data
  • Motivated, proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership in your work
  • Comfortable working independently and managing a varied workload
