Job Title: Global Senior Brand Manager – Rexona Men

Location: 100VE, London, UK
Reports to: Global Brand Director

Main Job Purpose

To lead the global strategy, innovation, and communication agenda for Rexona Men, driving brand penetration and power through a differentiated male proposition. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing a long-term growth roadmap for Rexona Men across all markets, ensuring synergy with the female counterpart, and championing best-in-class marketing to men within the brand and the broader Deodorants category.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop Rexona’s global strategy to win with Men in Deos, focusing on differentiated and meaningful brand propositions (BrandVerse, DesignVerse, Communities & Star Story).

  • Partner with Rexona Female lead to ensure brand synergy and consistency.

  • Work with BUs to embed multi-year growth plans with clear innovation and renovation rhythm.

  • Build and manage a 12-quarter pipeline to upgrade the core and translate Rexona’s proposition of Science, High Performance, and Control into relevant consumer benefits globally.

  • Collaborate with design cell markets for flawless execution of Rexona Male plans.

  • Partner with Global Brand Director Core & Innovation to craft compelling consumer communications for Men.

  • Lead social-first communication strategies in partnership with SFDG leaders.

  • Drive Rexona Male ‘SASSY’ step-up across all touchpoints, focusing on desire at scale for design.

  • Monitor brand performance and course-correct innovation, renovation, and communication strategies as needed.

  • Develop BETs to ensure flawless execution of Rexona Male plans in-market.

Skills & Relevant Experience:

  • Strategic Brand Leadership: Proven ability to develop global strategies for differentiated brand propositions.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience partnering with R&D, CMI, Finance, SC, and global counterparts.

  • BU Partnership: Track record of embedding long-term growth plans across markets.

  • Innovation & Renovation Planning: Skilled in building multi-quarter pipelines and translating propositions into consumer benefits.

  • Design Development: Expertise in delivering ‘Desire at Scale’ through outstanding design work.

  • Consumer Communication Development: Ability to craft compelling communications; BrandVerse experience desirable.

  • Social-first Marketing Expertise: Strong capability in leading social-first strategies.

  • Market Monitoring & Agility: Ability to track performance and adapt strategies quickly.

  • Executional Excellence: Experience creating BETs for consistent in-market execution.

Location  

In 2020, Unilever announced the intention to build a new sustainable campus site in Kingston, London to house the employees who currently work in 100 Victoria Embankment in Blackfriars ("100VE"), Lever House in Kingston and Graze in Richmond, the build is due to be complete in early 2025. Most recently, in August 2024, we announced our intention to retain our premises in 100VE until our lease expires in 2027.

We are due to consult with our existing workforce on the new proposal to retain 100VE for the duration of our lease. Therefore, until such a time consultation has concluded as to the retention of our 100VE office, this role will be based in 100 Victoria Embankment until early 2025 and then will move to the Kingston Campus.
