Role Overview:
Due to the expansion of the International Energy Team, Company is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Business Development Manager. This role is focused on independently generating new business opportunities within the international energy sector, selling a comprehensive range of consulting, sustainability, and proprietary technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business within the international energy sector to meet sales and margin targets.
- Independently source leads via cold calling, networking, events, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to follow up on campaigns and inbound leads.
- Drive improvements in the sales cycle through efficient processes.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, growth planning, and regular reporting.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Essential:
- Minimum 1 year in a business development role.
- Excellent presentation and confident public speaking skills.
- Highly Desirable:
- At least 3 years’ experience in the energy industry.
- Background in international energy procurement or sustainability.
- Familiarity with flexible purchasing and risk management strategies.
