Russell Bedford International is a global network of independent firms of accountants, auditors, tax advisers and business consultants. Ranked as one of the world's top accounting networks, Russell Bedford is represented by some 1000 partners, 10000 staff and 370 offices in over 100 countries worldwide. The Central Office is based at the premises of its London member firm, near St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

The network is currently serviced by a CEO, Head of Operations, Director of Professional Standards, Associate Director of Network Engagement, Marketing and Relations Assistant, Coordinator for Latin America, Administrator and intern students. The office additionally engages external support from marketing consultants, designers and IT developers.

About this role:

Russell Bedford International is seeking an experienced full-time Marketing and Communications Manager who will be responsible for implementing the network’s marketing strategy & plan, along with supporting members around the world so that they can get the most from their membership.

This role will support the network’s development activity and member retention, managing all marketing activity from web management to social media and Public Relations.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with the CEO and central office team to deliver on the goals of the organisation and directly, and jointly, manage the network’s Marketing & Relations Assistant, together with the Associate Director of Network Engagement. Whilst your main areas of focus will be internal and external marketing and communications, you may be required to provide support in all areas of the organisation as they arise, particularly during busy periods.

The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing in the professional services industry, with appropriate qualification and evidence of successful campaigns, building the profile of a brand, with excellent communication skills, both verbally and written. The candidate should be able to work independently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, along with demonstrating excellent teamwork and ability to build relationships within, and externally to, the network. Ideally the candidate would have some experience in developing marketing strategy & plans and managing a budget, which would allow the candidate to operate in a more strategic marketing role.

The role will be predominantly remote and is offered on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will, however, be required to attend the office one day per week (typically every Wednesday), and potentially more during the initial training period or specific busy occasions. Good access to London (St. Paul’s) is therefore a requirement.

There will also be a requirement for some international travel, attending conferences, once or twice a year.
